The Open command is used to open and read Fractal! parameter files (file type ‘FPRM’). These files contain all of data parameters that can be set from the Subdivides and Appearance menus as well as the Auto Render parameter that can be set from the Rendering Menu. The parameter file contains all the data necessary to exactly re-create a 24-bit deep fractal landscape in just 250 bytes. If an unsaved parameter files is currently open, the user will be asked whether or not to save the current file first.
